A weekend at Cassia Bintan ❤

Sloth life is slowly taking over me that I'm only blogging about my Bintan trip 5 months back. Haha

We went to Cassia Bintan for a relaxing weekend for SGD189 inclusive of accommodation, return ferry tickets and breakfast.  

The hotel itself was trendy and chic in style and the surroundings were quite pretty. 

They even have a beachfront pool foam parties in the evenings. 

As we reached fairly early and it's impossible to check in by 11am, we headed to Plaza Lagoi which was 20mins drive away. The cab ride set us back about $5 each, fairly cheap for a spacious luxury van. 

Plaza Lagoi is basically a dead mall. The only thing good there was the cheap and good massage @ Mollinda Spa and the authentic local food at cheap prices. Mind you, the restaurants at Plaza Lagoi was almost as expensive as the hotel so we went for  the food court on Level 2. A plate of kampung fried rice with chicken and fried egg only cost us $2.50, how cheap is that?

We rented 2 units of Loft Ocean View with Patio that leads out to the beach straightaway for 10pax!

There's a master room with double bed, a cosy little room with single bed and another double bed on the loft in each unit.

And of course we took a few snapshots outside our unit since it's so pretty. 

Yes, can I get you a towel?

We headed to the beach and pool in the evening when the patrons mostly shuffled back to their room

for showers or dinners. That was around 6.30pm. Thus, we had the whole pool to ourselves and it was great!

Dining at the hotel was very pricey. It costs more than $20 SGD for a plate of pasta. So, be well prepared with a full wallet or your own snacks loot!

PS: Do note that there is no medicine available at all throughout the hotel premises (even panadol) so please prepare your own, just to be on the safe side.
