Singapore Trip~Day 1 & 2 ♥

Finally have time to blog about my Singapore trip which was more than a month ago.. Went to Singapore for the first time to stay (went for a 1 day fleeting visit w/o staying the night last 2 years with my bestie, Huan) for 3 nights with my secondary school friends Smile

Our flight was 9.20pm at night---so late hor.. but I took a day off work all the same---for last minute re-packing ma haha xD

Camera 360

Byeeee Malaysia~~~We’re going to the land of “laws & fines” ---yes, they saman (fine) you over every little thing such as spitting / littering on the road which makes them the country they are now, very successful and clean.. I wanna live there !!

Landed and in Changi Airport, Singapore.. even their flat escalators are quick paced---what a change from Malaysia haha..

Why their land so limited also they can have big and spacious air port wan ?? Malaysia loses hands down..

In the MRT heading to Lavender station where our lodging is nearby..

This made us all ROFL xD hahaha.. If you don’t know what I mean, our friend who booked the accommodation's name is Tan Guat Shan.. As we reached quite later, almost 12am, they just left the key to our room in the safe on their front door, UNLOCKED---Singapore so safe.. Nobody steals anything !! And we haven’t even paid anything but they just let us have the key.. Trust is important, you know..

FYI, we stayed at a hostel which is quite similar to a western traveller’s concept of Bed & Breakfast I’d say.. The place we stayed was Backpackers SG..

Simple furnishing with steel lockers, shoes cabinets, shared toilets (which I dislike honestly) and a small small shared dining room..

After lugging our luggage into our room (which contains only beds and nothing else), we refreshed ourselves and head out for dinner/supper.. Was super starved cuz we missed dinner due to our flight got delayed that actually saved our asses cuz we were late.. lol..

Walked to Lavender Food Square which was bustling with activity, everywhere else we passes by was quiet..
