Bangkok Trip – Day 3 ♥

HeyHo! How’s everyone out there?

Lately the news is buzzing with the Bersih 4.0 demonstration. Lots of news channels covered the event and are supporting Malaysians to fight for their rights, for cleaner elections and fair treatment for all.

But anyway, this post is not about the Bersih 4.0 haha..

Gotta get on with this last post on my Bangkok trip back in April before I’m heading to my beach getaway in 2 days time!

You can read Part 1 and Part 2 here before continuing with this post for more juicy info Smile

En route to the famed Erawan Shine to check out the Four Faced Buddha..

It was such a peaceful and sacred shrine visited by locals and travelers from all walks of life everyday.. But sadly, there was this bombing accident that happened few weeks back that marred the safety of this place..

Next we moved on to Central World to shop at the largest Naraya outlet~~~

We bought tons but no photo there cuz we went shopping crazy everything’s so cheap!!

Checked out After You Dessert Café.. They are famous for their delicious toast with different toppings ♥

We shared 2 toasts among the 4 of us.. That’s more than enough sweetness and quite fulfilling cuz the portion weren’t small at all..

After satisfying our sweet tooth, we caught up with our cousin sister, Rika for a short while who was also in Bangkok with her hubby and friends.. and headed back to our hotel for a short rest & swim session Winking smile

We struck out about 4.30pm to the nearest BTS Skytrain station as we wanted to visit Chocolate Ville.. Contrary to it’s name, the place does not sell or parades chocolates..

Here we are.. We arrived at about 7.30pm as we were caught in the massive Bangkok jam since one had to take the taxi after the BTS as this place is not quite accessible with public transport.. Took us 3 hours instead of the 1 hour journey to reach ==

The view of this place was breathtaking.. Should be even more beautiful if you can arrive around 6.30pm when there is still daylight..

Sad to say though that the food sucks.. And it wasn’t cheap either..

So, practically speaking, you will be paying for the environment haha

Bangkok sweeps.. Not that much cuz I didn’t bring enough cash and the timing was too short~~~

Will definitely go again next year Winking smile till then, toodles!
