To Dad ♥

It’s not Father’s Day or even his birthday.. That’s not the purpose of this post.. I just felt very touched lately cos my Dad did a lot of the small things that really make me feel so loved and appreciated..

I have not been working for very long.. Just a little over half a year but yes, I do feel the pressure from work.. Who does not right ? So I’ve been all tired up and my non-stop chatter may seem to have trickle off.. I guess Dad noticed..

He initiated a karaoke session between the family in Green Box for the 1st time in my whole life (fyi, I love to sing) !! He took us to the fun fair where I found part of my precious and priceless childhood memories !! He ate western food with me for the very 1st time in his whole life !!

He let me indulge in being a little child again, not caring to be responsible or what not, just let me have some good ol’ fun =)

It’s not about how much money you spend on your loved ones or how expensive the gifts are.. It’s about the time you spend together, doing activities as a family and the thought of doing something that will brighten up your loved ones’ day..

This I would like to say, my Dad really did for all of us.. He is the world’s most respectable, caring and loving father one can ever hope for..

He will think of ways to cheer me up whenever I’m down in the dumps.. He will ask if I wanna talk about it.. If I clam up and said I’m ok, he will still know I am in fact NOT OK.. Then, he will try to make me happy by buying me my fav ice cream, bringing me to shop, initiate an outing that I will enjoy more than he himself will..

I don’t know if I can ever be that good a parent, or reach even 50% of what he did for me, for us..

I really salute you, Dad.. You are the world’s best Daddy and I am very proud to be your daughter.. I love you, Dad ♥

I know this post is random, yea.. But, life’s like that isn’t it ? You never know what comes tomorrow or even the next second
