Before it's too late..

Do you know why we call family FAMILY?
It stands for Father And Mother I Love You..

No matter what you do and how bad you have become, your parents will still protect you with their all too-weary hearts.. Do you think a drug dealer's mum wants him to have that job? Hell no! But she will still support and back him up no matter how wrong he is cuz they are family..

Day by day you grow up.. From a lil babu, they cared and worried over you for at least 20 years.. You're an adult now.. Did you notice your parents growing older each day? Did you notice when they can't carry things as heavy as before and their hands started shaking? Did you notice them stop taking some kind of food or drinks cuz the doctor told them that they have to? Do you even know about their health complications?

Sadly to say, many people nowadays have changed.. Their focus is different now.. They put their career in the first place to achieve the fame and fortune they are so crazy about.. They crave for acceptance from a society that is so cold blooded that all matters is time and money.. Even if some put their family first, many chose to be extravagantly close to the spouse and son but not the parents.. Why is this so?

They chase after time.. They say they don't want to waste time and feel remorse at not having accomplished what society deems successful.. Maybe they think that they should not waste time on trivial matters such as feelings.. When you are striving hard not to let time go by without doing something, did you also notice your parents fighting with all their might to stay on longer, struggling with time to remain a day longer just so if you happen to have some free time and wanted to visit them or unfortunately need their help, they will be there for you and offer you the comfort that nobody is willing to give?

Do appreciate your family when they are around you.. Don't take them for granted just cuz we are accustomed to having them worrying and tending over us.. Sometimes, it's just too late when you wake and realise that all you've been living is just a lie and not a meaningful life because they are not here for you anymore..

They will not be here forever.. Express what you feel before it's too late.. At least,  they know..
