2013 Resolutions !

Yaya.. I know I’m like super late.. 10 days late in fact.. So sorry ><

But, what to do.. CNY is looming near.. My anniversary with the boyfie is just days away and we’re going off for our on-impulse-planned trip out of Malaysia with the others soon.. Other than Singapore, I’ve never been anywhere else due to strict rules from the parents.. I’m still practically a baby in their eyes.. Lol..

Was busy de last week with lots of tasks what with Mom asking me to clean out all de cupboards and closets, cleaning de wall and ceiling~~~yeah~~~literally.. Went to renew my passport, terminate my old Digi line, grocery shopping (again), preparing boyfie’s surprise and also settling my car loan stuff..

Ooh.. I’ve been crapping much.. lol.. Sorry.. On with de resolutions of this new year..

1. Be more healthy/health-conscious

~I don’t have a fixed meal time.. Sometimes, de 1st meal of de day can start as late as 6pm.. lol.. It’s not that I woke late.. Just I tend to not eat when I’m doing stuff.. Sometimes even lazy to eat.. Haha.. So, I hope to follow a healthy pattern for my meal intake this year..

~Exercise more, sweat more.. Good for de body.. and soul perhaps ??

2. Save more money

~By curbing my spending habits which has magically and unbelievably happening right here right now.. So weird leh.. My friends don’t even believe me when I told them this loh.. Perhaps, since I’m not working (not of my own will) and my money is running low, I tend to become “kiam siap”, it’s a Hokkien word for stingy.. Haha..

3. Shop less

~Which I think is happening right now and hope to do so in future.. Window shopping is ok though right ??

4. Read more + Learn more

~Well, since I want to (and hopefully will get) to work as a journalist/writer/editor in the near future, I guess I should stock up on more knowledge eh ?

5. Master my driving skills ><

~Yes.. I am what people call noob P driver T___T Have got my license for 4 years but I can’t drive properly, yet.. Cuz I’m not permitted to drive not I don’t want leh.. Overprotective parents you say ? Absolutely.. Must change my sad fate of not-knowing-how-to drive-a-car-life since I’m getting a car soon !

6. Get a good-paying job that I like

~Ok.. I know this one is the real hard one.. Cuz we can’t always get what we want, isn’t it right ? But, who’s to say I can’t try for it.. Reach for the stars people always say and I’m gonna reach for mine !
