Penang Trip with the Boyfie :)

Gosh, this post is long overdue.. 4 months to be exact >< feeling so guilty.. forgive me for being a slave to my job~~~

Went to Penang with the boyfie last Christmas, our first trip together apart from friends and family and sad to say that it kinda justifies why the both of us can’t go on a trip together  

Don’t get too excited now, we’ll get there later..

Stayed at Hotel Royal Penang in Georgetown..

Waiting lounge, kinda spacious and nicely decorated.. A plus for providing super comfy sofas

Checked in to our room.. A couple of selfie first of course ^^

 

After refreshing ourselves, we went hunting for the Penang’s most famous food!!

Along the way, pretty ancient buildings..

Reached Kafe Heng Huat after walking for over an hour cuz we got lost @.@

On the way back, by walking again of course, we got lost again.. Got to see these cute cars display by One Academy, so kinda makes it worth it for walking another hour plus?? Hahaha xD

Went back to the hotel to rest and have a leisurely swim..

Ok, I admit.. I was taking photos more than swimming.. Blame it on the swimming pool that is only 1.6m deep ==

After a refreshing dip at the pool, it’s time for dinner.. So, food hunt yet again

Dinner at Golden City Restaurant---love the prawn mee and wan tan mee so much we went back for it the next day ♥~♥

Beautiful night view when we had a stroll after dinner and came to find a jewel of a cute bakery by the name of Brix and Baume..

And yes, we had our dessert ^^ guilty as charged!

Blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu---both my fav---yums ♥

***The next morning***

Ootd---simple and breezy =) boyfie said I was stupid for using the main road as my background ==

Had our brunch here.. Boyfie got food poisoning later in the day.. We suspected it’s either this since we had different chicken or an egg tart he had in the noon.. So, I better not name this place..

Boyfie started feeling unwell in the evening so we headed back to the hotel.. He vomited and got diarrhea practically from then till de 3rd day evening.. It was pitiful to see him in so much discomfort.. He even caught high fever.. Worried die me..

Hence, I said we are never going on a trip alone together again.. at least in the foreseeable near future lol

Finally done this post.. took me a few hours cuz had to alter the colors of the photos.. Can I get myself a new camera?? Hehehe
