Phuket Trip~Day 1
Warning: This iz a extremely long ass post bombed with tons of pics.. Skip if you’re short on patience =P
Well, if you guys followed and/or read my blog/fb account, you’ll know I went to Phuket last week with the boyfie, Jie, Jordan, Kai Jie & her husband, Ian.. This trip with all expenses sponsored was a gift from boyfie for our 5 years anniversary present ♥ Sho sweet right ?
Our flight was 6.55am.. We went by taxi around 4am and reached fairly early.. To kill time before check-in, we headed to Theobroma Chocolate Lounge cuz their seats looked so comfy and to have our super early breakfast.. Haha xD
Our coffee with art + tea ^^
We all ordered the same thing.. lol.. Mushroom Omelet set..
.
.
.
Reached Phuket airport.. Ze queue is sho long ><
Random shots =)
Our MPV taxi~~~will take us 1 hour to reach Jungceylon, Patong where our hotel is located..
Hence, stopped by at the ever-famous, 7-11 =D
They have more of everything here, so don’t forget to stop by a 7-11 or at least a mini mart when you go to Thailand yea !
Stuff are so cheap here compared to Malaysia.. For example, Lays chips.. Only cost around 40 baht = RM4 tho de package is a tad smaller lar.. But, compared to Msia selling price is around RM9 per pack, so extremely worth it..
Ooh.. and my absolute fav~~~stick biscuit snacks ♥ They have so much more flavor there and cost dayum cheap oso.. Average around 15 baht per box = RM1.5 only !!
I bought those 2 below, Ham Cheese and also Choco Banana.. So yummy.. Hope they’ll come out with Bacon some day cuz me totally loveeee Bacon.. Hahaha xD
Reached our destination, Pimnara Boutique Hotel =)
This hotel is situated on a strip of pavement packed with cafes, restaurants, cute shops and quirky stalls.. There’s even 2 malls here.. Just so great & convenient !!
Breathtaking beautiful lobby view right ? And the plus thing here, the service is extremely absolutely undeniably good !! The check-in time is set at 2pm but as per our request they let us check-in earlier and even served us their famous thirst-quenching orange juice ♥
Super great décor idea for staircase.. Boyfie said we could do this for our future home =) hehehe…
Lovely chandelier right ?? Love the designs in this hotel ♥
Highly recommend this hotel if you have money to spend.. As this hotel is a 4-star hotel, the rate is a lil higher.. Price depends on season, but de cheapest you can get is roughly 3400 baht = RM340 per room per night.. Check the rates here..
While waiting for the check-in process, we walked to a nearby mall, Phuket Square.. Only 2 minutes walk away.. So convenient, yeah I know =)
Ooh la la.. So many souvenirs my eyes are blinded *joking eh* >~<
Next, we got hungry.. We head to Furltenberg Café..
Décor is nice~~~
Lime Juice + Ice Lemon Tea
Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich
PadThai with Prawns
Chicken Tom Yam with Rice
Food was passable.. Nothing special.. And too pricey for us =( but oh well, lesson learnt.. Do not go for Western-looking cafes since you are in Thailand !
Fully loaded, I meant our tummies.. Haha xD
Let’s get a look at our room yea =)
Not bad eh ??
The price is worth it !
Refreshed ourselves.. Showered and changed.. and headed out for a lil fun time at the beach xD
The walk to Patong Beach is around 20 minutes.. Took us longer, since we were looking at all sorts of pretty things at stalls all along de way to de beach.. You just won’t get bored !
Not much pics here cuz we were chasing each other around the beach like mad caps xD
Oh, btw, met with some Middle Eastern fellas.. When they knew we were from Malaysia, they told us they love Mahathir =) Err.. Shall I feel proud ??
And then, food again.. Haha.. We got hungry so easily on that particular day.. LOL..
We went to Bangkok Restaurant.. It’s somewhere along Patong Beach..
Btw, when you are here, you must try their COKE ! It’s different from ours back in Malaysia.. Not that gassy.. And it’s better =D
Pineapple Fried Rice
Tom Yam
Chicken + Cashew Nuts
Red Curry
The food was nice ^^ but still a lil overpriced cuz too commercialized edi..
Next, we walked back to our hotel for a shower and change of clothes again.. Therefore, de selca below =P
Boyfie said I look like a flower idiot ==|| so bad hor his mouth..
We then went in search for food, AGAIN ! Hahaha xD
We like ze monsters =P
Passed by this Gasoline Pump.. So Thai authentic, don’t you think ?
I wonder if they use it for motorbikes only or also the tuk-tuks ??
Our supper at a roadside stall =) Definitely yummy ♥
Boyfie’s Pork Intestines with Rice (me hate intestines but the soup is a winner !)
Vegetarian Thai Fried Rice
Haul of de day ♥
Important reminders:
Reminder 1: Bring lots of money if you’re staying around the same area cuz the Jungceylon area is a lil more pricey (esp food) than usual places.. We brought RM1000 (for 3 day 2 nights) and it wasn’t enough T_____T hence, measly souvenirs ><
Reminder 2: Buy luggage space.. We thought there wouldn’t be much to buy on an island hence we’ve only got hand carry.. We were proved so so so wrong apparently ==||
Ok.. That’s it for Day 1.. Will continue with Day 2 after pics are done kay~~~be patient =)
